ছোট কাটারা শায়েস্তা খানের আমলে তৈরি একটি ইমারত। শায়েস্তা খাঁ এটি সারাইখানা বা প্রশাসনিক কাজে ব্যবহারের জন্য নির্মাণ করেন। আনুমানিক ১৬৬৩ থেকে ১৬৬৪ সালের দিকে এই ইমারতটির নির্মান কাজ শুরু হয় এবং তা ১৬৭১ সালে শেষ হয়। এটির অবস্থান ছিল বড় কাটারার পূর্বদিকে বুড়িগঙ্গা নদীর তীরে।
